This site is a personal, non-commercial experiment by Warren Everard, built to explore agentic-commerce discoverability. It has two parts. The Digital Shelf runs a scripted shopping journey and makes live, read-only calls to Shopify’s Global Catalog to show how an AI agent retrieves products and chooses which to surface. The Loyalty Agent is a purely illustrative walkthrough: it makes no live calls, and the brands, retailers, and people shown in it are fictional. There is no payment path and no purchase is possible anywhere on the site. The following Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Disclaimer govern your use of this site.
1. Privacy
1.1 Overview
A personal, non-commercial project for personal exploration. Not operated by any company, organisation, or employer.
1.2 Who operates this site
Built by Warren Everard in a personal capacity, on personal time, using personal equipment. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any employer, company, Shopify, or any merchant whose products may appear in results.
1.3 What this site collects
Nothing on its own. No analytics, no cookies, no advertising or marketing trackers, no session identifiers. Only standard server logs maintained by the hosting provider (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) are generated, and those are governed by the provider’s own policy.
1.4 What is stored in your browser
Nothing is stored in your browser. The site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage.
1.5 Live network calls
The page’s retrieval, the “try it live” searches, and the catalogue exploration in the closing section make live read-only calls to Shopify’s Global Catalog (catalog.shopify.com/api/ucp/mcp). These calls are proxied through the author’s own server-side routes on the hosting provider; no query is sent from your browser directly to Shopify. Shopify’s own privacy policy governs any data retention on their side. When the live network is unavailable, previously captured real responses are shown instead.
1.6 Agent identity profile
Each live call declares a public agent identity profile (an Agent Profile URL) that identifies the calling agent to the network. This profile is publicly accessible.

2. Terms of Use
2.1 Acceptance
Using this site means you agree to these Terms.
2.2 Nature
A personal, non-commercial experiment. Not a product, service, shopping tool, or commercial offering. Free to access. No services contract is formed by use of the site.
2.3 Not a shopping or commerce tool
This site does not facilitate purchases. No payment path exists. Product results shown are returned by Shopify’s Global Catalog in response to read-only queries and are not verified, curated, or endorsed by the author. Do not rely on them for any purchase decision.
2.4 Personal project, built independently
Developed entirely in the author’s personal capacity, on personal time, using personal equipment and personal accounts. No proprietary, confidential, or non-public information of any employer, client, or third party has been used in its design, code, or operation.
2.5 No affiliation, no endorsement
Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify, OpenAI, Visa, Amazon, any other named company, merchant, card network, payment scheme, or industry body. No organisation has authorised, reviewed, or had any input into the site. Real company, product, and protocol names appear only for descriptive and illustrative purposes, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. References to Shopify and its catalogue are for technical demonstration context only.
2.6 Scripted journey, live retrieval
The shopping journey is scripted: the queries are a fixed set, there is no free-text input and no language model. The retrieval, the “try it live” searches, and the closing catalogue exploration make live read-only calls and reflect what the network returned at the time of the call, which may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The checkout shown is a simulation, clearly labelled, and is not a real transaction.
2.7 No warranty
Provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranties, express or implied.
2.8 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Warren Everard is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or any reliance on its outputs. The site is provided free of charge; in any event, aggregate liability is capped at AUD 100.
2.9 Australian Consumer Law
The Australian Consumer Law is not intended to be excluded where applicable. Where non-excludable guarantees apply, liability is limited to re-supply of the relevant content or the cost of re-supply.
2.10 Acceptable use
No unlawful purpose. No misrepresentation of outputs as verified product information or commercial advice. No scraping. No interfering with operation or security. No attempting to use or abuse the declared agent identity profile for any purpose outside viewing this site.
2.11 Availability
The site may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Live retrieval depends on Shopify’s Global Catalog, which is outside the author’s control.
2.12 Intellectual property
The design, code, written copy, scenario structure, prompts, and architecture of this site are the intellectual property of Warren Everard. All rights reserved. No part of the site, its design, or its source may be copied, scraped, mirrored, fine-tuned against, or reused commercially without prior written permission. Product data returned by Shopify’s Global Catalog belongs to the respective merchants and Shopify and is surfaced here for personal, non-commercial demonstration only.
2.13 Governing law
Victoria, Australia. Exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
2.14 Severability
Invalid clauses are severable; the remainder of the Terms stays in force.
2.15 Changes
May be updated; continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
3. Disclaimer
3.1 Personal exploration only
Not a commercial product, shopping assistant, or decision-making tool. A personal experiment demonstrating agentic-commerce protocols.
3.2 Illustrative scenarios and fictional brands
The Loyalty Agent walkthrough is illustrative and makes no live network calls. The loyalty programme, retailers, people, prices, and benefits depicted in it, including LoyaltyCo, Westmark Group, Flypoints, Buildsworth, OfficePoint, Daymart, TechFirst, and Colorex, are fictional and were invented for the demonstration. Any resemblance to real companies, products, or people is coincidental. Real companies named elsewhere in the walkthrough, such as Visa, OpenAI (ChatGPT), and Amazon, appear only to illustrate how the protocols work and do not imply any involvement by them.
3.3 No purchase facilitation
No payment path exists on this site. The checkout shown in the journey is a simulation, clearly labelled, and does not represent a real transaction. Any cart or checkout link behind a product belongs to the respective merchant and is not invoked by this site.
3.4 Product data accuracy
Product titles, prices, availability, shipping eligibility, ratings, and any other attribute shown come from Shopify’s Global Catalog and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Always verify on the merchant’s own site before making any purchase.
3.5 Cached responses
Where the live network is unavailable, the site shows previously captured real responses. These reflect a past moment and may no longer be current.
3.6 No affiliation
References to Shopify, and to other real companies, products, and protocols named in the demonstrations, are for descriptive and illustrative context only. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify or any of them, nor by any merchant.
3.7 Third-party dependency
Live retrieval depends on Shopify’s Global Catalog. The author makes no representation about the availability, accuracy, or behaviour of this third-party service.
